Fuel filter heating

At low temperatures paraffin precipitates in diesel, which increases fuel viscosity, making fuel passage through the fine filter difficult.

By means of heating the fine filter (fuel filter) with the help of bandage preheater up to 120 degrees (maximum temperature necessary for heating of fuel in the filter) it is possible to prevent waxing of diesel.

In a vehicle with power of 24 V, 2 preheaters with a series circuit of 12 V can be installed.

Bandage preheaters can also be equipped with a timer. The timer is used for an automatic cutoff of the preheater in 10 minutes after the beginning of operation.

Bandage diesel preheater is recommended for use at temperatures below +5°С.

Depending on the ambient temperature, the recommended duration of heating for the fuel filter from the battery is 5-10 minutes. The heater can constantly remain active if the generator is working.
