Flow diesel preheater

Fuel line is one of the most vulnerable parts of the vehicle, therefore, there is a risk of fuel clog, so heating the fuel line is essential for normal functioning of the fuel system.

In contrast to the fine filter, it is constant diesel fuel heating that is important for the fuel line during the engine operation.

The following heaters are used for heating the fuel in the fuel line:

Flow diesel heater is used for continuous heating of diesel fuel in the fuel line of the engine at ambient temperature below +5 °C.
Flow diesel heater is installed into the fuel line before the fine filter and connected to the onboard electric network.
Flow diesel heater is equipped with automatic operation. It turns on automatically as soon as the temperature of fuel at the heater input goes below +5 °C.
Besides, the control unit automatically regulates the temperature of the diesel fuel in the fuel line, depending on the temperature and consumption of the diesel fuel, which eliminates overheating of the heating elements, overheating of fuel, allows optimal energy consumption, provides high reliability and durability of the device.

Scope of delievery includes: flow heater in a packing, bracket, cable and wiring for connection to the onboard network or automatic heating system, passport, operation and installation instructions.

Flexible tape heaters ЭНГЛ-1 are designed for external heat-insulation and electrical heating of the elements of the fuel line (fuel lines, filters and filter-separators, fuel tank), as well as seats and other parts of the vehicle, subject to freezing at low temperatures. Heaters can perform both, preheating and sustainer heating. The polymeric material of the heater is resistant to various agressive media, diesel fuel and solvents, and remains flexible at temperatures up to -60°С.

To heat the fuel line, ЭНГЛ-1 is laid along the fuel line, crimped and fixed on the surface of the fuel line with plastic clamps or adhesive mounting tape. Efficient heating is reached at close contact of the heating surface with the fuel line surface, as well as at installation of additional external heat-insulation. The heater is universal – it can be installed on any type of vehicle with onboard power of 12 and 24 V.

ЭНГЛ-1 heaters have a manual heating operation and can be connected to the automatic heating system СПА-101 (201). In fuel heating system, flexible heaters can substitute bandage heaters ПБ-101, and flow heaters  ПП-101 (102). In case of manual operation, the heater is connected to the onboard electric network and the switch with indication is installed in the driver's cab. To turn the heater on, press the switch button.
